Create Your Own

Step One: Create a concept. Badges can be used to celebrate events and milestones, promote yourself, your Taylor Hicks fansite or charity. The possibilities are virtually endless. Use your imagination and get creative with the concept: Examples: Personal Badges, To identify yourself, trade with friends Promos: Advertise your fansite, Soul Patrol gathering, or charity Commemorate: Concerts, Gatherings, Cellcerts, Road Trips, etc. Taylor Hicks, LiMBO, Soul Patrol related photos, art, sayings, etc. Step Two: Prepare Art. You can use any drawing program you are comfortable using: Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Coreldraw, Paint, etc.

Badge Size: is 3" x 4", 76mm x 101mm, or 289 x 385 pixels. This size allows traders to fit the badges in vinyl holders, to wear around the neck at concerts. You can download Badge templates here: Jpeg versions: vertical   horizontal Photoshop versions:  vertical   horizontal Avery Template

Tag Size: of  2.5"x 3.5",  64mm x 89mm or 240 x 336 pixels. This smaller format is the standard Artist Trading Card size and would work well for personal cards displaying your avatar or small photos. Jpeg versions: vertical   horizontal Photoshop versions:  vertical   horizontal

Step Three: Print for yourself. You can use card stock paper and trim down to size. Now you are ready to wear and trade badges with other Taylor fans. Step Four: Publish online. If you wish, you can share your badge online for others to see and print out for their collection. Simply upload the original art file to your space, a hosting site like photobucket, or email the art and info to thebadgeproject@taylorography.com We will publish your badge or tag in the gallery.

Lina is a cancer survivor (in the picture you can see she is missing a leg, which had to be removed to save her life from a very agressive cancer). Like Taylor, my girl has "soul" - and has refused to ever give up! I have two dear friends who are true Soul Patrollers who have been deeply affected by cancer. One lost her husband to cancer about a month ago, and the other has a brain tumor.
